森林已在我脚下了，我的小屋仍在上头
那篱笆已见到，转弯却又隐去了
该有一个人倚门等我
等我带来新书，和修理好的琴
而我只带来一壶酒
因等我的人早已离去

云在我的路上，在我的衣上
我在一个隐隐的思念上
高处没有鸟喉，没有花靥
我在一片冷冷的梦土上……

In Dreamland

The forest is at my feet and my cottage is still upthere.
The fence having come in sight is hidden again atthe turn of the path.
Someone should be waiting by the door,
Waiting for the new books I bring and the zither repaired.
But I bring only a jug of wine,
For the one waiting has already left.

Clouds on my path and on my clothes,
I’m in someone’s vague thought.
Up here I find neither birds’ song nor flowers’ smiling faces.
I’m in a cold dreamland….
